Paul Veth People hear I run four businesses and assume I'm orderly. I'm not. I'm really not. My office is a mess except for the one corner I record in. My head is worse. Constant ideas, constant chaos. I took the Big Five test and scored around 30% on orderliness. That means in a room of 100 people, 70 are more orderly than I am. I'm not fighting that number. I'm using it. I made a promise to myself: business, health, family. Those get the orderly 30%. Everything else can stay chaotic, and that's actually great. You don't need to become a different person to get things done. You need to know your percentage and know where it goes.

Paul Veth You brush your teeth every day. You charge your car, you wash your clothes. That's order. Small, but real. You already have a pattern that works, you just don't call it that. The mistake is spreading your orderly side across ten priorities instead of three. Write down your ten goals, then pick the ones that actually deserve your focus. Those three become your new 100%. I don't try to control everything. The maximum number of things needs to fit within that 30%. So I channel what little order I have into business, health, and family, and let the rest stay messy. That's it. That's how you get things done.
